Terms of use
These terms apply when you use the Luna app. By using Luna you agree to them. If you download Luna from the Apple App Store, Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
1. Luna is not medical advice
Luna gives estimates and general information about periods and cycles. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition, and it is not a substitute for a doctor, nurse or other healthcare professional. Always seek professional advice about your health, and never ignore or delay it because of something in Luna.
2. Luna is not birth control
Predicted fertile windows and ovulation dates are estimates and can be wrong. Do not use Luna on its own to prevent pregnancy or to plan one.
3. Emergencies
Luna can’t help in an emergency. If you have heavy bleeding, severe or sudden pain, fainting, or pain with a positive pregnancy test, call your local emergency number or get urgent medical care.
4. Ask Luna
Ask Luna uses artificial intelligence to write answers. Answers may be incomplete or wrong, so don’t rely on them for medical decisions. Use Ask Luna only for its purpose, and don’t try to misuse or overload it. We may limit how many questions can be asked each day.
5. Who can use Luna
You must be at least 13 years old to use Luna. If you are under the age of majority where you live, please use Luna with the permission of a parent or guardian.
6. Your data
Your logs are stored on your phone and you are responsible for keeping your phone secure and for backing up your data. How we handle data is explained in our privacy policy.
7. Changes and availability
We may update Luna, change or remove features, or update these terms. If we make important changes to these terms, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, let you know in the app. We try to keep Luna working well but can’t promise it will always be available or free of errors.
8. Liability
Luna is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or harm resulting from relying on Luna’s predictions or information. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be excluded.
